I’ve been doing photography for over 18 years.
Wow! It doesn’t seem that long ago! It all started with a hand-me-down film camera and a college roommate who wanted pretty photos for her boyfriend. Which makes me laugh and brings a huge smile to my face!!
In college I studied art with an emphasis in photography, but really, I spent most of time hanging with my, now super hot hubby, Jason as much as possible. After we got married we moved to Yosemite National Park where I spent all my free time taking landscape photos, while rock climbing, hiking and backpacking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
When we started a family, we decided to settle in the North Georgia mountains near family and friends and close to great hiking, paddling, and so many outdoor adventures. I began taking photos of my babies and friends started noticing and asking me to shoot some photos of their families, children and weddings. And thus began O’Bryant Photography. And what a fantastic journey it has been!
These days I’m a wife to a fantastic hubby and a mom to four amazing kiddos; we like to hike, canoe and be outdoors together. We're obsessed with music, dance parties in our kitchen, bon fires, simming in the summer and the occasional movie night. We are followers of Jesus, and that makes what I do so very important, because I don’t just take pictures to make people happy.
I do what I do because I know it is a gift from my creator and I want to use it to bring more people to know how loving He is.
I love people, I love capturing their one-of-a-kind beauty, and I want people to see themselves the way I see them through my lens... As uniquely, wonderfully, and marvelously made.
Jolie has been doing photography for about a year and a half. She loves shooting people and especially loves doing babies and toddlers, with experience in family and senior portraits as well. Her favorite environment to shoot in is anywhere outside, close to nature. She strives to capture the full personality of whoever she is shooting. In Jolie’s free time, she is a student at UNG in Dahlonega. She loves Jesus and Christian fellowship, and is involved in a campus ministry called the Wesley Foundation.
She also loves music, reading, good food, and anything outside.
I’ve always loved photography, something about freezing a happy moment in time gives me the warm fuzzy’s.
Bethany and I work together seamlessly. Ive never shot with anyone else and had such an unspoken understanding of who should be where...I feel like we never miss a single moment or angle. It also helps that our shooting style is nearly identical, which is harder to come by than you may think.
When Im not shooting I like to hang out with my family. We enjoy hiking and exploring the great little town of Dahlonega that we get to call home.
